Notorious Thieves, Drug Pusher Died at Buy-Bust Operation
Father and son tandem known as a notorious drug pusher and stealing motorcycles at San Pablo, Laguna died in a buy-bust operation.
The suspects allegedly exchange gunfire with the authorities after detecting that the person in their transaction was the police. The suspects were identified as Jun and John Lloyd Bernal.
According to the report of GMA News, police recovered 10 packs of illegal drugs called ‘shabu’, guns, and alleged stolen motorcycles. The suspect died after police involved in the buy-bust operation sharply shoot at them.
Their modus was caught the close circuit television (CCTV), where they secretly pushed motorcycles without guard and when they are few meters away from the place where it is parked they will start the vehicle. Some stolen motorcycles were recovered after police searched the shop where they were taken.
The owner of the studio was arrested but said he did not know that the motorcycles have been brought to him were stolen. Several sacks of spare parts were recovered at the said shop.
