Kind Police Earn Praise Online for Giving New Pair of Crutches to Old PWD

The police officers are government personnel tasked to enforce and implement the rules and regulations in the country. However, nowadays law enforcers expressing compassion and generosity to poor Filipino citizens amid the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Recently, video footage shared by PNP Good Deeds Facebook page, kind police uses savings to buy a new pair of crutches for the disabled elderly man in Zamboanga del Sur. The kind officer was identified as PSSg Jay Rose Corro, who was assigned in Sominot Municipal Police Station.
According to the post, Prior to the COVID-19 crisis, Mang Angelito M Alvarez, a resident of Purok Eva Brgy Eastern Poblacion Sominot, Zamboanga del Sur had already a problem with crutches as he does not have enough money to buy new pair.
So when the Philippine National Police (PNP) team of the aforementioned area gave him the new pair, the excitement he felt was immeasurable. As seen on the video, Mang Alvarez was very happy while he is trying his new crutches.
Meanwhile, after the video was uploaded, it has gone viral on social media. Lots of netizens praise the kindness of the police amid the pandemic, while some netizens were touched to the reactions of Mang Alavarez.
