Man Kill His Friend Because of Unpaid P1,200 Debt

CEBU CITY- Desperate 35-year-old man kill his friend Friday night, May 22, 2020 after it doesn’t pay the P1,200 debt weeks after he lends it.

The 41-year-old victim identified as Randy Aguirre was already dead when his family saw him at the back of their store in Don Jose Velez Riverside English, Barangay Guadalupe. He was seen dead nearly 5 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2020.

According to the report of Sunstar Cebu, the suspect identified as Jecery Monino, 35, also resident of the aforementioned barangay. He was caught to be the suspect due to the close circuit television (CCTV) footage.

The suspect cut the throat of Aguirre using a knife that leads him to death. Monino was immediately arrested by the authorities and brought to jail.

In an interview with Superbalita Cebu, Monino said that Aguirre had gradually borrowed money from him. He started to asked Aguirre for the payment since the start the general community quarantine on March 16, but he was disappointed. Monino says he can’t handle it anymore, he killed his friend.
