Where is Trina Zuñiga now?
Former actress Trina Zuñiga who was one of the main cast members of GMA’s youth-oriented show Click is living this kind of life now after she left showbiz.
She joined the entertainment industry in 1999 and was included in the first batch of Click together with Maybelyn Dela Cruz, Tricia Roman, and Joseph Ison. Trina did appearances in several TV series in the Kapuso network while doing Click until 2001.
She left GMA after her character’s life ended in the show and became a talent of ABS-CBN. A year after that, she left showbiz to concentrate on her studies. “When I left showbiz, I was still a college student. I decided to focus on my studies because I wanted a career outside of show business,” Trina said talking to PEP.
She has been using her nickname “Kat” after she left the entertainment industry. “After I graduated, I worked at a hotel and became an Events Manager for a few years. After I left the hospitality industry, I did makeup artistry for TV commercials,” the former actress shared.
She got married to TV commercial director Sid Maderazo in 2008. That was the time she decided to be a stay-at-home for her three children.
Trina decided to put up her own business called Bento By Kat in 2014. It as a Japanese-style of preparing food with fun and colorful designs, especially intended to attract kids to eat.
“BentobyKat was born out of my passion for doing more for my kids. In this case, it’s preparing cute and healthier baon for my kids,” she said. Trina started posting photos on Instagram and she got invitations to do workshops and seminars.
She is also a Sushi Art instructor and she got her certification in Tokyo a few years ago. Because of this hobby that became her business, Trina Zuñiga already had TV and radio guesting due to this.
“Life outside has been great for me. I am very happy where I am,” she shared when asked about her life outside the entertainment industry.
