Ruby Rodriguez was confined in the hospital
TV host Ruby Rodriguez was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday due to a certain medical emergency.
Ruby previously had a devastating experience when it comes to health because her older sister Dr. Sally Gatchalian died due to the complications brought by the coronavirus. The physician was one of the frontliners who fought against the pandemic.
The TV host shared how close she is to her Manang Sally and it was heartbreaking not seeing her for the last time. Just recently, Ruby also had a medical emergency. In her Instagram Story, before the noon of May 20, she shared a photo of her hand with intravenous fluid (IV) therapy.
“Hate this but…” she said. Ruby did not elaborate on her condition in her post. On the other hand, her daughter Antoinette Aquino, fondly called as Toni shared a bit of information about her mother’s condition.
Toni is now based in California, as her fiance, Ricardo Centurion serves in US Army, based on the article from PEP. Because she is away from her mother, she worried a lot upon knowing the latter’s condition. In her Instagram Story post, Toni hinted that the ailment of Ruby is in her stomach.
“I am sad that my mom is taken to the hospital because I would always be the one to accompany her when these things would happen and now that I am here I can’t be with her. I spent 20 mins crying because I felt guilty about not being by my moms side,” Toni said.
She also had this message to her dad, “Please take care of mommy @markino1029”. “I love you mom! Please take care of your tummy kasi! @rodriguezruby,” the daughter of Ruby Rodriguez added.
In the recent Instagram post of the TV host, her consolation to her medical condition is the relaxing view of her hospital room. She also used the hashtags “stomach pain” and “npo”. In medical terms, NPO stands for nil per os, a Latin phrase which means “nothing through the mouth”.
