Authorities Seized P170,000 Worth of Shabu from 11 Chinese and 1 Filipina

11 Chinese have been arrested after being caught possessing drugs in separate operations by authorities in Manila and Parañaque on Tuesday.

8 male Chinese POGO workers and a Filipina were first arrested in a hotel room on Del Pilar Street in Ermita after a delivery rider reported to Paco Police that a suspicious package from Alabang, Muntinlupa had been delivered to the hotel.

Manila Police confirmed that the items in the package were drugs. They immediately carried out the operation and accompanied the delivery rider to the hotel, based on the report of ABS-CBN News.

When the rider reached for the package, police immediately grabbed the recipient and found that there was a drug session inside the room. Authorities seized several firearms and 16 grams of suspected shabu with a street value of P108,800.

In another Ermita police operation, three Chinese were arrested in the buy-bust operation at Dr.’s corner. Arcadio Santos and Old Sucat Road in Parañaque. The three suspects seized 25 grams of suspected shabu worth P170,000.

Early this month, there are lots of drug-related arrest of certain individuals including person in authority, government aid beneficiaries and high profile drug personality amid the stricter implementation of enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) throughout the country.
