Sarah Abad Officially Confirms Split w/ Jay Contreras, Here’s Statement

Kamikazee’s Jay Contreras and his wife Sarah Abad officially called it quits.

SARAH ABAD – Rockband Kamikazee vocalist Jay Contreras and his wife actress Sarah Abad separated and here’s her statement.

In a previous article, many hearts got broken as speculations circulated online over the alleged split of Jay Contreras and his wife actress Sarah Abad. A lyric from his song which said “May dulo pala ang langit” now means something to people.

Their relationship started in 2002 and they met while Kaye Abad and Parokya Ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda were still in a relationship. They were teased by these two until everything turned real. And Jay’s sense of humor is accordingly just one of the many things that Sarah loves about him.

It was 2006 when they’ve had their first child. They got married in 2009 and were blessed to have two kids. However, just this recently, the separation allegations surfaced and last Thursday night, through Instagram stories, Sarah confirmed that they are not together anymore.

She appreciated all the love and support and for those people who have reached out to her. After everything, she assured that she and Jay will remain to be as good friends and will still be the loving parents for their children.

According to a report from PUSH, here’s the full statement of the singer’s wife:

“I appreciate all the love and overwhelming support people have sent and continue sending our way, most especially to all my friends who have tried to reach out. Soon, I might have the courage to talk to all of you.”

“Please know that Jay and I will remain good friends and loving parents to our kids. It would be a new journey for both of us. This has been heartbreaking and painful, but always praying for strength and acceptance. Thank you.”

Meanwhile, Kamikazee is Pinoy rockband which famed songs such as  “Narda,” “Martyr Nyebera,” “Chicksilog,” “Unang Tikim,” at “Huling Sayaw.”
