Man in Ozamiz Voluntarily Surrendered After Being Hunt by Authorities

OZAMIZ CITY – A man voluntarily surrendered after being hunted by authorities for offering P150 million in exchange of President Duterte’s life.

The suspect was identified as Joemarc Medina, based on his Facebook account use for commenting statement against President Rodrigo Duterte. According to the Facebook post of News Keeper, he commented on the Facebook post of the arrested construction worker, Ronald Quiboyen, offering money to kill Duterte.

Quiboyen doubles the offer of Ronnel Mas, the public school teacher in Zamabales who was also arrested for the same post about threatening the life of the President.  Meanwhile, Medina commented on Quiboyen’s post that he will give P150 milliom for the same intention against Duterte.

But Medina soon surrendered at the Ozamiz City Police station after being hunted by the authorities for his libelous statement. He received threats after he commented on the post, so he decided to surrender for his safety, based on the report.

Hatred post and threats against the President prompted online since one the of the media giant ABS-CBN Network goes off air, alleged supporters and loyal viewers express anger against President Rodrigo Duterte as he was one of the reasons why the network shut down.
