Northern Samar and the northern portions of Samar and Eastern Samar will face violent winds and heavy to torrential rains of the eyewall region within 12 hours.

Residents in affected areas were urged to take precautionary measures, coordinate with local disaster risk reduction, and stay updated.

As per the report, the bureau warned of floods and rain-inducing landslides especially in highly to very highly susceptible areas during heavy or prolonged rainfall.

the coastal areas of Northern Samar, east coast of Eastern Samar , west coast of Samar, Sorsogon, Albay, Catanduanes, Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Quezon, and Aurora will face storm surge of 2.0 to 4.0 meters.

The surge might cause potentially life-threatening coastal inundation, the bureau warned, further saying that sea travel is risky for all types of seacrafts in areas under TCWSs.
