Drug Bust In Navotas City Resulted In 4 Suspects Arrested
NAVOTAS CITY – Four suspects have been arrested in a buy-bust operation that was conducted in Navotas City on Monday evening.
A report from ABS-CBN News states that the operatives also confiscated ₱5.8 million worth of suspected drugs.
Northern Police District director Police Brigadier General Ronaldo Ylagan identified the suspects under the aliases Onel, aged 22, Randel, aged 24, Maria, aged 31, and C, aged 29.
The four were arrested after they sold a suspected crystal meth to a poseur buyer in Togo Street, Barangay Tangos North in the city at around 8:20 PM, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) reported.
“Randel”, who is among the arrested suspects, turned out to be one of the personalities under the drugs watch list from the police.
Based on the report, retrieved from them were 855 grams of suspected crystal meth worth at around ₱5.814 million.
They are currently under the custody of the local police station and will face charges for selling and possession of illegal drugs, the NCRPO added.
