One of the fastest growing YouTube channel in the Philippines is that of Ivana Alawi’s. Aside from being a Youtuber, she was first known by everyone as an actress portraying remarkable roles in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and Mea Culpa: Sino Ang May Sala.
Everyone surely knows that a wide following and a large number of views means a heft salary for the content creator. And Ivana, whose career in vlogging quickly escalated, breaks her silence about her salary based on a previous article. Now, is she earning a million a day through vlogging.
“Ang kinikita ko lang 6 digits. Hindi ‘yun totoo na parang kumikita ka ng 1 million per day. Pangalawa hindi ako sumali sa YouTube para kumita,” she explained. And being the good daughter that she is ever since, he salary, as per her, is intended for the house she wanted to give to her mother.
She now has over 6 million subscribers since she joined last May 31, 2018. Her channel now has an accumulated 269,630,135 views. As per this post, she has 41 uploaded videos.
In a report from PEP, she said that haven’t touched her YouTube salary yet because it was intended for her mother’s house. She shared, “Hindi ko pa siya nagagastos kahit piso kasi nga pambili ko yun ng bahay ni mama.”
Ivana’s father is a Morrocan and her parents got separated when she was just 7 years old. Also, in an interview, she shared that her late father gave her all his wealth and assets.
