Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach has this photo with President Rodrigo Duterte that resurfaced on social media after she shared a recent post about ABS-CBN.
Pia has done several projects with the Kapamilya network before the lockdown was implemented due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Even prior to her pageant days, she was already appearing in some Kapamilya shows.
After the cease and desist order issued by the National Telecommunications Commission against ABS-CBN, Pia was one of the celebrities who expressed support to the TV company.
She said in her post that ABS-CBN has been a home for her. “To my ABSCBN family, I stand by you. I am still hopeful that all of this is just a challenge. Maayos rin ang lahat. #IStandWithABSCBN #NoToABSCBNShutdown,” her post stated.
Because of this, Twitter user @IamCharotism shared a post of Pia’s photo with PRRD side by side with her post about ABS-CBN. The tweet simply has this caption: “#DDSPiaWurtzbachStandsWithABSCBN. Charot!”

Meanwhile, Pia Wurtzbach was recently bashed by a fan of Heart Evangelista who misunderstand her remark. However, the beauty queen explained that she did not mean anything bad about what she said.
