This is what broke the heart of Sylvia Sanchez
Award-winning actress Sylvia Sanchez revealed that while she and husband Art Atayde was battling COVID-19, there was a thought that broke her heart.
Sylvia and Art had to be isolated from their children when they tested positive for novel coronavirus disease 2019. After more than a month of being away from their family, the actress shared the emotions that they had while fighting against the deadly virus.
She said that it is still vivid in her mind how she felt when they were not allowed to go near their children. That was devastating for her as a mother and that really saddened her.
“Bilang isang ina, araw araw dinudurog puso ko pag naiisip ko na posible naming nahawa mga anak namin. Yan ang pinaka kinakatakutan ko habang nakikipaglaban kami mag asawa sa COVID,” Sylvia shared.
The actress also shared that was the reason why they were fervently praying while getting treatments. Fortunately, their children are fine and they have recovered.
“I am grateful to GOD that He heard and answered our prayers. My husband and I are now okay and reunited with our children,” Sylvia said.
Having the chance to hug and eat with her children is indeed a delightful feeling for the COVID-19 survivor. Sylvia also thanked everyone who prayed for their recovery, especially to all the frontliners who untiringly fought with them.
“It was not an easy fight but we won because of your unending prayers and love. And with the Grace and Love of GOD,” she said.
Sylvia added that they can now journey life together with their family. The actress added that she will continue praying until the health crisis brought by the COVID-19 will end.
