26-Year-Old Arrested In Taguig City Due To Illegal Drugs

TAGUIG CITY – A 26-year-old suspect was arrested by authorities at an apartment in Taguig City on Monday night due to illegal drugs.

According to a report from Inquirer, Taguig police chief Police Colonel Celso Rodriguez identified the suspect as Gezel Wesley Oliveros under the alias “Boy”, who resides in Barangay Usuan in the city.

His capture was the result from a buy-bust operation conducted by the Taguig Station Drug Enforcement Unit led by Captain Salvador Camacho; and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Unit in Oliveros’ apartment at 9 PM.

He was captured after he sold meth worth ₱200 to a poseur-buyer amid the operation.

Recovered from him was nine kilograms of shabu of about ₱61.2 million, marked money of ₱200, boodle money of about ₱98,000, weighing scale, bag and cellphone.

As per the report, although the suspect is not a high profile drug personality, he was said to have supplied illegal drugs to his unknown contact in Cavite.

Investigators are yet to probe further to determine the source and conspirator of the suspect.
