Chinese National Got Robbed by Stray Kids after Trying to Find a Home to Stay

MANILA – a Chinese national who’s stranded at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) was got robbed by stray kids after going outside in attempt to find a house to stay.

Last February airlines began suspending flights to China to stop the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Starting May 3, the government will also suspend all flights in and out of the country for one week.

At least 15 foreign nationals have been stranded today at NAIA Terminal 1, including a Dutch national who is in danger of running out of cardiac maintenance medicine and an Australian who cannot go to a friend’s house because of public transportation ban and enhanced community quarantine.

Meanwhile, a Chinese national who’s included on the 15 foreign national stranded at NAIA was got robbed by ‘batang hamog’ or stray kids. According to the report of ABS-CBN News, he was staying at passenger area of the airport since March.

It also found out that the Chinese just change his clothes every two weeks. So he tried to find another place to live and went out of the airport, as a result, stray kids robbed him

According to the report of police, the stray children got on his cellphone, so he’s now unable to contact his relatives. As of now, there’s no statement release yet on how long they will be staying at the airport.
