Darth Vader with Stormtroopers are Spotted Enforcing ECQ Malabon
MALABON – patrol men wearing costume of Darth Vader and his army Stormtroopers enforcing the ECQ guidelines in a Barangay in Malabon.
In a Facebook post of Muriel Baldago, he shares the law enforcers in their barangay that brings good vibes to netizens and their neighbors. Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers have arrived in Brgy. President, Malabon City to assist in the police frontliners.
According to Barangay Chairman Ian Borja, SK officials and volunteers wore “Star Wars” costumes while on patrol to somehow replace the smiles of residents amidst the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
Muriel said, this maid to watch out for the shoppers in the market, browse through the village to maintain guidelines of enhanced community quarantine. Aside from that this were also made to bring joy and give residents a smile on their face.
“Ginawa po ito para magbantay sa mga namimili sa palengke, mag galugad sa mga eskita ng barangay upang mapanatili ang kaayusan at bukod dun, ito ay ginawa para rin MAKAPAGPASAYA ng TAO,” said Muriel.
The ‘Star Wars’ theme patrol team has gone viral on social media and brought good vibes to the netizens. Netizens lauded their creativity. However, some have negative reactions saying that what they did was not a good idea and triggers spectacle that may force people to go outside.
