Glaiza de Castro talked about her Irish boyfriend
Kapuso singer-actress Glaiza de Castro shared what her parents discovered about her Irish boyfriend David Rainey amid the enhanced community quarantine.
Glaiza and David are together now in Baler as they got stranded there when the ECQ was implemented. Based on the article from Bandera, the Kapuso star revealed that her parents had apprehensions about her foreigner boyfriend.
“Honestly, noong unang punta niya dito, ‘yung parents ko medyo hesitant kasi nga taga-ibang bansa,” she shared. She added that her mother and father were hesitant about her relationship with the Irish-national.
On the other hand, Glaiza said that David is persistent to show that he is a good person. “Ngayong time na ‘to na araw-araw kaming magkakasama, nakikita mo talaga kung gaano siya ka-consistent din na tao at kung gaano siya kasipag,” she added.
Then, the singer revealed the discovery that her parents had about her boyfriend. “So ‘yun ‘yung napapansin ng parents ko sa kanya, na masipag talaga siyang tao,” Glaiza de Castro said.
Because of the ECQ which is more than a month now, the parents of the actress had the chance to know more about the boyfriend of their daughter. Even Glaiza has discovered new things about David. She said that she saw that her boyfriend has a positive outlook in life and that he knows how to mingle with people.
Their neighbors could also attest how amiable David is and she feels proud of that.
“So, nakaka-proud ‘yun para sa akin na kahit na hindi siya taga-dito or iba ‘yung kultura niya, napaparamdam niya sa parents ko most especially ‘yung concern niya hindi lang [para] sa akin kundi sa mga tao rin sa paligid ko,” she said.
Glaiza also shared that they had been talking about future plans in putting their relationship to the next level, based on the article. However, they are still enjoying what they have now and they are working on what could be the next thing they will do after the lockdown.
