Sharon Cuneta will have an online concert
Megastar Sharon Cuneta is set to hold an online fundraising concert specially dedicated to mothers on May 8.
Recalling, during the COVID-19 crisis, it is not the first time of the Megastar to help other people. Her fellow Kapamilya star Angel Locsin revealed that she had donated P3 million for the the quarantine tents of coronavirus patients.
Apparently, Sharon has no intention to publicize her donation. However, Angel had no choice but to defend the Megastar from bashers who questioned the latter’s effort amid the health crisis in the Philippines. On the other hand, many netizens also defended the singer-actress against the negative comments.
Following this, Sharon Cuneta is set to do another good deed amid the enhanced community quarantine. She will have an online fundraising concert. According to the recent Facebook Page post of ABS-CBN, the event is a “tribute to the brave, dedicated, and loving mothers”. The upcoming fundraising concert is titled “Sharon: Love and Music, A Mother’s Day Special.”
This will stream live on ABS-CBN Facebook, YouTube, and website (ent.abs-cbn.com) this May 10, Sunday, at 8 PM.
“Accompanied by maestro Louie Ocampo, Sharon brings an intimate concert experience as she sings some of the most popular and well-loved tunes that will bring joy, love, and inspiration to every home,” the post also stated.
Meanwhile, the last concert that Sharon Cuneta was in October last year with the Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez. That rare tandem onstage was titled ‘Iconic’. The two icons are set to a series of concerts this year, according to the site viagogo.com. However, it is still unsure if these will push through due to the current health crisis.
