This former SexBomb member battled against coronavirus
Former SexBomb member Jacque Esteves recently revealed that she tested positive for the new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
SexBomb Dancers reigned the noontime time slot back in the early 2000s. They became part of the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga. Eventually, aside from their stint in the variety show, they were able to have their own soap opera in the Kapuso network titled Daisy Siete.
Years passed and some of them ventured into other careers, just like Jacque Esteves who became a medical frontline amid the COVID-19 pandemic. While fulfilling her duty, she got infected and tested positive for coronavirus.
Jacque shared about this during the recent online reunion of SexBomb Dancers. Once again Rochelle Pangilinan, Jopay Paguia, Izzy Trazona, Yvette Lopez, Weng Ibarra, Monic Icban, and Jacque Estevez were seen together onscreen even just through video conference only.
That was the time that Jacque shared how she battled against COVID-19. She is currently based in Anaheim, California with her husband and three kids, based on the article from GMA Entertainment.
“’Yung lungs ko no’n parang nagbi-build up so halos natutulog ako, nakaupo. Dahil ‘pag nakahiga ako, parang magbi-build tapos hindi na ako makahinga. Parang tinutusok ‘yung katawan mo. ‘yung chest ko parang mag nags-stab na kutsilyo. Parang ganu’n ‘yung nafi-feel ko,” Jacque shared.
She also expressed happiness that her former co-dancers still remember her even though they haven’t seen each other for a long time, based on the report.
“Talagang na-touch ako. Medyo kinabahan ako kasi nami-miss ko na sila. Matagal ko na silang hindi nakausap. Nu’ng nag-usap kami parang bumalik ulit ‘yung time na nagkukulitan pa rin kami lahat,” the COVID-19 survivor shared.
Meanwhile, Rochelle shared that the SexBomb Girls are formulating a show. However, with the current situation in the country due to the enhanced community quarantine, she said that it still not finalized.
