Minglanilla Town Rice Market Razed By Fire On Tuesday Night
MINGLANILLA TOWN – A fire which occurred in Minglanilla town, Cebu had razed a rice market at around 6:40 PM on Tuesday, April 29, 2020.
According to a report from SunStar, local municipal fire marshall Inspector Cecil Araya reported that they received the alarm at around 6:40 PM.
It was raised to second alarm at around 7:12 PM as the fire rapidly spread. It was reported that an oil shop worsened the fire. Araya added that there was a mini grocery store in the building.
“Gawas sa bugasan, maora man gud na og mini grocery store kay naa man pud mga baligya nga mga groceries. Unya ang oil usa to sa nakapakusog sa kayo,”
According to the report, initial probe states that the fire started at the second floor of the edifice owned by a Quilope Abella. They are yet to determine the cause of the fire. Furthermore it also destroyed a pharmacy.
