3 Men Nabbed in Checkpoint as They Pretend as Frontliners and Possession of Drugs

GUIGUINTO, BULACAN – three (3) men were nabbed in a checkpoint after they pretended as frontliners, and authorities found suspected illegal drugs.

In a report of GMA News, the three identified as Julius Francisco and the father with son Andres and Roy Marcolita were arrested in Guiguinto, Bulacan checkpoint, Wednesday, April 29, 2020.

The three men did not have an ID to present to prove that they were frontliners. They carry only quarantine passes as their IDs but it has no name written proving that they owned it.

A P800,000 worth of illegal-drugs also recovered on three after police officers’ searches. Francisco admitted that he is selling drugs. Roy Aldrin’s defense he was just got unknowingly involved, while his father was in a state of shock did not give any comment.

As of now, there are still cases of illegal drugs despite the stricter implementation of enhanced community quarantine. Mostly of suspects are pushers while others are Social Amelioration Program (SAP) and 4Ps recipients, using the cash aid received for illegal drugs.
