This is what Vic Sotto said about Vico Sotto’s viral Zoom incident
Comedian-host Vic Sotto quipped over the controversial Zoom teleconference of Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto with the Foreign Correspondents Association of the Philippines (FOCAP) last April 22.
The epic reaction of the young mayor when a daring image appeared at the back of one of the participants went viral on social media. That is why the name of “Ann Gregorio” became a Twitter trend a day after that.
When the mayor had a teleconference with Senator Win Gatchalian, he expressed relief that it went well and no controversial background appeared.
Apparently, Vic Sotto remembered that incident when Eat Bulaga had a special FB Live for his birthday on April 28. Vico also joined the teleconference to give his birthday message for his dad.
After that, Bossing said to his son, “Thank you, Mayor! Tuloy mo lang ‘yung mabuting trabaho mo ha, I’m proud of you.” Then, the comedian-host quipped over the controversial Zoom incident.
“Parang kamukha mo ‘yung picture d’yan sa likod,” Vic said referring to his photo that served as the background of where Vico was. Following that, Bossing jokingly said, “Wala bang nakahubad ngayon? Walang bold?” This made other participants of the teleconference, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, and Paolo Ballesteros, laugh.
With this, the Pasig City Mayor said that when Eat Bulaga’s producer told him that they will have a teleconference via Zoom, he answered, “Sigurado ba kayong gusto niyo mag-Zoom?”
“Maraming hacking daw ngayon [kaya] kinakabahan na ako mag-Zoom e,” Vico added during the FB Live.
Meanwhile, Pauleen Luna-Sotto wrote a heartfelt birthday message also for her husband. Vic Sotto is now celebrating his 66th birthday.
