Heart Evangelista Expresses Sadness Over Death Of A Pug
HEART EVANGELISTA – Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista couldn’t help but express his dismay over the death of a pug.
Actress, model, and philanthropist Heart Evangelista is a known dog lover. Previously, she calls on Pinoys to show love to Aspins. She said they are not “bantays” or used to scare off others.
In November last year, the animal rights advocate came across Mang Jun at Gilmore Avenue in Quezon City, taking care of street dogs. Heart was touched by his compassion so she decided to give him a home.
In February 2020, Heart Evangelista went to Taal Volcano to save the animals who were affected by the eruption. She joined the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in their relief operations.
Recently, Heart Evangelist took to Twitter to air his dismay over the death of a pug that was hit by a car. She was heartbroken after reading the Facebook post of a netizen named Janica Ruzzel Felipe.

“My poor 8 months old baby pug just died today. Me hearing this… “tumalsik na, ginulungan pa sobrang sakit!!!!”
“Yung pinaghirapan at pinagipunan nyong dream dog. masagasan ng taong walang puso!”
Heart Evangelista shared the post on her Twitter account. She couldn’t hide her disgust over the reaction of the driver.
“It all starts with how you treat the ones who can’t defend themselves like animals . Hayop sila ? Hayop ka din…”
“Just because it’s common to see dogs all over doesn’t mean they are just “things” . Umiinit ulo ko dito kay kuya ha . @PAWSPhilippines”
