PNP Chief Archie Gamboa Reveals Major General Jovic Ramos’ Medical Condition

PNP – The chief of Philippine National Police (PNP), Archie Gamboa, revealed the medical condition of Major General Jovic Ramos.

Last March 5, a chopper carrying Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Archie Gamboa and other police officials got tangled in a powerline and crashed in Barangay San Antonio, San Pedro, Laguna.

Gamboa and his team were in the area to inspect the impounded vehicles. All of them were rushed to the hospital. However, PNP comptrollership chief Major General Jovic Ramos is in a critical condition and now in a coma.

In a previous article, the Police General suffered several fractures on his face. He is currently confined in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Southwoods Unihealth Hospital in Biñan, Laguna.

Dr. Elvis Bedia said he is still “in a serious and critical condition.” She also said he got a brain injury.

Its been two (2) months since the helicopter crash but the Police general is still in a coma. On Wednesday, April 22, PNP Chief Archie Gamboa was interviewed on DZMM. He shared that Maj. Gen. Jovic Ramos has yet to regain his consciousness.

“We’re still praying he’d be able to recover,” he said.

After the incident, the Philippine Nationa Police ordered a temporary grounding of the entire PNP fleet. According to the report, Archie Gambopa said he PNP is finalizing an order to lift the grounding of its helicopter.
