JOURNALISM – Some journalists have their own style of writing unique to their articles, as such, these are called journalistic texts.
The main aim of these writings are to provide meaningful information to the readers. More examples of these types of texts are news and information.

Examples of these texts are seen everywhere from the reports done by newscasters on TV all the way to articles written on websites. Likewise, newspaper ads, magazines, and other sources of information are also examples of these texts.
Also, Journalistic texts need to be clear and concise. However, that doesn’t mean it has to be dull and lifeless. As such, some writers developed a way to make their articles more colorful.
The purpose of these texts are simple to inform, entertain, or even persuade the readers. Moreover, there are three types of these texts:
- Print Journalism
- Focuses on print media (Newspapers, magazines)
- Broadcast Journalism
- What we see on TV, radio, etc.
- Yellow Journalism
- Type of journalism that uses exaggerating words or sensationalism paired with eye-catching headlines
