Netizen Slammed After Saying “Pwedeng E Water Therapy Ang Gutom”

Netizen Lambasted After “Pwedeng E Water Therapy Ang Gutom” Statement

PWEDENG E WATER THERAPY – Recently, President Rodrigo Duterte floated the idea of a total lockdown if residents continue breaking quarantine laws.

As such, the Filipino people became divided on the idea. Many residents of the Philippines, especially in Luzon, have been greatly affected by the coronavirus crisis.

Moreover, millions of jobs have been temporarily suspended and sources of income have become scarce to null. In lieu of this, people became concerned after Duterte stated that the Enhanced Community Quarantine might be extended after April 30.

However, due to the continued hardheadedness of some residents, people might agree that a lockdown could be a solution. On the other hand, those in the poorer bracket would also risk not having any food left to provide their families.

Meanwhile, a netizen on Facebook made a post that agreed with a two week lockdown. The post said:

“IPATUPAD NA AGAD YAN.. TOTAL LOCKDOWN .. WALANG PALALABASIN ..KAHIT MGA NAG TATRABAHAO .. TOTAL 2WEEKS LANG NAMAN .. WALA NMN MAMATAY SA 2WEEKS NA GUTOM .. MAY TUBIG NAMAN NA PWEDE E WATER THERAPY SA GUTOM”.

Following the statement, netizens on the social media site Reddit slammed the Facebook user. One Redditor named “femm4lyf” said:

this proves that this person has never done fasting with water therapy while having a job. also he has completely no idea about fasting.

to throw such sentiment into the air without considering others (age/health status/etc) is simply careless and reckless and utterly idiotic at best.

Likewise, user “sleepysloppy” had a similar thought:

people who say this don’t know jack about going hungry for days.

I’ve experienced starving for 3 days and its not a happy time, I can’t imagine if it will be for two weeks.
