DILG Spox Says People Photocopying of SAP Forms Will Face Charges
The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) spox on Friday warned against unauthorized people are photocopying social amelioration forms.
In a report of GMA News, spokesperson of DILG warned against unauthorized production of the social amelioration cards, which are being used for the government’s coronavirus subsidy program.
The forms could not be photocopied as these are “pre-numbered and barcoded” by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), said DILG spokesman Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya. He added that the forms are not for sale and especially not for reproduction by unauthorized individuals.
According to the Malaya, individuals who will caught photocopying the forms will face charges in accordance with the law. DSWD will supervised and has the full control on the distribution of cash aid.
Malaya added that the agency will be assisted by local government officials and personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to ensure that no individual or groups will take advantage of the cash aid.
