However, due to high demand, McDonald’s was forced to restock their inventories on Sunday, April 19. Moreover, on their Facebook page, the fast-food chain stated:

Due to the high demand, we will be restocking our inventories on Sunday, April 19.

Until then, we ask for your patience given the challenges of the delivery logistics during the Enhanced Community Quarantine.

Rest assured that we will continue to provide everyone with quality food and services at the soonest possible time.

Due to the enhanced community quarantine, several fast food chain branches nationwide have suspended operations. With the ECQ in place, logistics such as delivery of supplies became more difficult.

As a result, these fast food chains have opted to sell their frozen goods directly to consumers to gain profit and help costumers get their favorite snacks even under strict conditions.
