Taiwan Reveals Email Warning WHO About COVID-19 In December

TAIWAN REVEALS EMAIL TO WHO – The World Health Organization (WHO) had been heavily criticized for ignoring Taiwan’s email about the coronavirus.

Back in December, Taiwan had received reports from doctors who were stationed in Wuhan who saw evidence of human-to-human transmission. Afterward, they sent an email to WHO detailing their data and asked for further information.

However, Taiwan said that WHO merely ignored the warning and failed to provide information on how to fight the virus. As such, countries like the United States have placed the organization under fire.

Similarly, Taiwan accused WHO of downplaying the catastrophic and exponential spread of the coronavirus. Meanwhile, according to a report from Fox News, this was WHO’s attempt to pander to China.

Here is the content of the email sent by Taiwan:

News resources today indicate that at least seven atypical pneumonia cases were reported in Wuhan, CHINA. Their health authorities replied to the media that the cases were believed not SARS; however, the samples are still under examination, and cases have been isolated for treatment.

I would greatly appreciate it if you have relevant information to share with us.

Thank you very much in advance for your attention to this matter.

Best Regards,

As per the report, WHO denied that Taiwan had alerted them to potential human-to-human transmissions of the virus. However, Taiwan’s CDC stated that they specifically mentioned “atypical pneumonia”, similar to that of SARS.

However, because at the time there were as yet no cases of the disease in Taiwan, we could not state directly and conclusively that there had been human-to-human transmission
