Because of what the Kapuso broadcast journalist exposed, he received criticisms from several netizens. In line with this, a netizen recently posted that Clavio removed himself from social media which the latter denied on his Instagram account and called this “fake news”.

Following this, the netizen fired back to the broadcast journalist. Facebook user Krizette Laureta Chu, showed that the one who first posted about this is a friend of Arnold Clavio.

“Excuse you, Arnold Clavio. Before you say FAKE NEWS yung sinasabi namin na nawala ka sa social media, may pa post ka pa ng post ko, call out this “friend” of yours na NAGPAKALAT na wala ka na daw sa social media,” Chu said in her post.

The netizen also called out the previous posts of the journalist and questioned why he had to spread fear of the terms that he used. “There are no pile of dead bodies. There are bodies in the morgue of EAMC that have remained uncollected due to lack of funds of family members + lack of knowledge of protocol in handling COVID 19 cadavers,” she said.

Chu also said to Clavio that he doesn’t need to be the beacon of truth when he did not go out to verify the information that was sent to him. “You’re as fake as your hair. And yes, you have no journalistic integrity,” the netizen stated.
