Previously, famous composers and singers made some songs about coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). About awareness, proper hygiene, and tributes to the frontliners and people around the world who risk their lives battling the dreadful virus.
Recently, an elderly woman netizen named Erlinda Villalobo shared an inspiring song about coronavirus in Facebook account. The video shows Villalobo singing a COVID song inspired by the song “Kiss Me, Kiss Me” originally sung by Efren Montes in 1971.
The 66-year-old great singer actually composed it by herself. She herself originally composed the Tagalog lyrics for such a song whose message is about COVID-19 awareness.
It is also found out that she was a former contestant on “Stars on 45,” a segment of the “It’s Showtime” noontime show in the years 2013-2014, according to comments of netizens who have known her and her close friends.
Her song has gone viral on social media as many netizens were amazed by her great voice and concerned about the public health crisis the county facing right now. The video reached over a million views and it has over 100k share and over 9k comments.
