According to ABS-CBN, police reports show that the suspects attempted to pass through the checkpoint on 10 PM Thursday night. They were, however, prevented by officials manning the checkpoint due to enhanced community quarantine.

One of the suspects even pretended that he is a person under monitoring, which he used as a scapegoat to enter the checkpoint but he failed to prove so.

In the middle of inspection, one of the suspects attempted to throw something suspicious, which was later identified as illegal drugs.

As per the report, they were immediately arrested and even admitted that they used a fake name.

They will be filed charges for violations, among them include the use of a fake name and violation of ordinance of curfew, as well as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
