PAGASA – Latest Weather Update This April 8, 2020
PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration this April 8, 2020.
The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the warm winds from the east or easterlies will affect the eastern part of the country.
According to GMA News, the northeasterly surface windflow will bring cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Batanes, and the Babuyan Group of Islands.
Meanwhile, the easterlies, as well as localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and rhe rest of the country. The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.
Based on the report, for the forecast wind speed, north Luzon will have moderate winds that are moving northeastward with moderate coastal waters.
The rest of the country will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to northeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
