Deer Spotted Wandering Around a Housing Estate During Coronavirus Lockdown
DEER – A herd of deer was seen wandering around a housing state in East London during coronavirus lockdown.
Most of the air and sea travels are suspended due to the 2019 novel coronavirus. Several countries have taken aggressive measures to control the spread of the deadly virus.
Netizens from different parts of the world have noticed some unexpected effects of the quarantine. The lockdowns or community quarantine could be good news for animals and nature.
In the Philippines, a netizen shared a photo of the Sierra Madre amid the coronavirus pandemic. The photos brought delight to his countrymen who just now discovered the beauty of the mountain.
Recently, a herd of deers made rounds on social media after they were spotted wandering in an empty neighborhood in East London. Based on a report from Daily Mail, the animals from Dagnam Park were seen chilling on front lawns in Harold Hill.
The locals believed that the animals approached the area because the streets now have lesser people and cars. They said they are now seeing a herd of deer amid the coronavirus lockdown. A council street works inspector expressed his reaction after seeing the deers.
“I came across them just lying around. Residents, some with their dogs, just left them alone, and the dogs didn’t bark or startle them. It was a beautiful start to the day…”
“Apparently they are quite common – but there were around fifteen to twenty. They just continued lying there chewing the grass. I think it’s because it’s quieter,” he added.
