Senior Master Sgt. Ruel Duetes of Cortes Police Station said that fortunately no one was unharmed during the accident in Barangay Dela Paz yet he couldn’t say the same thing with the two vehicles involved, according to Bohol Chronicle.

Reports show that the Mitubishi Montero, manned by a Lemual Rembonanza, aged 40, suddenly swerved to the opposite lane and collided with a Hyundia Eon driven by a 59-year-old Myrna Gamas.

“Kining Eon nakabantay na nakatipas naman, hing kabig siya pero giabot gihapon siya,”

“Natapsingan ning Eon sa driver side.”

The Montero driver admitted to the authorities that he fell asleep while driving. Duetes noted that both drivers were not needed to be transferred to the hospital. Luckily, both vehicles did not carry passengers.

As per the report, both sided are said to prepare an amicable settlement, Duetes added.
