Indian Restaurant Offers Free Food to All People Earn Praise Online
An Indian restaurant in goes viral and earned praise from the online community for offering free food to people amid the pandemic situation.
Amid the prevailing enhanced community quarantine throughout the country due to the widespread outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), many of our fellow countrymen are starving because most of them stopped from working.
With this, local residents and workers feel the burden of its financial impact. During this situation, everyone needs to work together to the best of their ability to survive.
Recently, the post of concerned netizen Jirah Joy Padama went viral on social media where she shared the generosity of a man who offered free food to people passing by their restaurant.
According to the post, the generous man was known to be an Indian who owns an Indian food restaurant “Star Punjabi Dhabu”. She said that while they were walking with his friend to find food they went over to this restaurant and the guy offered them a free meal.
“While naglalakad kami para maghanap ng mabibilhan ng ulam. nadaanan namin itong Indian food restaurant. Then, tinawag kami ng may ari kain daw libre, nagpapakain daw sya ng free dahil sa pandemic situation,” Jirah wrote in his post.
Jirah said that they offered to pay for their meals several times but the owner repeatedly refused to accept it. According to the Indian man, he feeds the people for free as he feels the pain of every citizen in the wake of this worldwide pandemic.
Meanwhile, lots of netizens were amazed by the generosity of the Indian man to Filipinos even though he is from the other country. It is just proof that even in times of crisis there are still many good people who are willing to help those in need.
