Chie Filomeno answered her bashers
Kapamilya actress Chie Filomeno fired back to the bashers of her political views which she shared on social media.
Apparently, Chie is one of the celebrities who rallied behind Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto when the latter was summoned by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for allegedly violating the policy on quarantine.
Because of this issue, Chie took to her Twitter account to express her opinion. The actress-dancer said in her tweet: “Please use your KOKOte. Hindi dapat si Vico pinapatawag ano po.” It appeared that this post of the Kapamilya talent did not sit well with some netizens.
There were netizens who questioned her credibility in airing her political views. One even asked if she already donated since she ranted amid the issues concerning the enhanced community quarantine.
Another one told her to just practice dancing because she did not help anyone amid this trying time. The actress-dancer answered, “Tabang? Naa! TAXI NATIN. Di ko siya binoto. I help the frontliners as much as I can at yung mga taong nangangailangan nang tulong dahil nagugutom na sila sa KAKAANTAY sa gobyernong inaasahan nila.”
In another tweet, Chie Filomeno shared a GIF of the controversial dance number that she did with defunct all-girl group Girl Trends.
Aside from this, she also shared a short video on her Instagram account with the caption for those who are bashing her. “BRB mag TikTok lang ako tsaka mu sayaw ug “How Do You Sleep” tanggalin ko na din tong push-up bra ko,” Chie wrote.
However, the actress-dancer deactivated the comment option on this post which already reached almost 450 thousand views.
