Meanwhile, concerned residents revived and popularized the parody song of “Oh Carol” originally sang by Neil Sakada. Charlie Fry, the composer of “Oh Mayor” parody version of “Oh Carol” has a message to Mayors who are missing in action amid crisis.

In the video, a group from Brgy. Tibag, Pulilan, Bulacan revived the parody song. Seems like a live band concert scene with the group using improvised musical instruments while singing “Oh Meyor”.

The song wants to convey the message from the residents that their duties are not being performed properly especially when people need their help. It’s funny to listen to but the song’s message clearly calls for help from the public officials.
