PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration this March 27, 2020.

The latest update from the state weather bureau says that the easterlies will still affect Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

According to GMA News, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was last spotted at around 530 kilometers east southeast of the city of Davao.

The weather disturbance will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorm over Davao Region and South Cotabato province.

The bureau warned that flash floods or landslides might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the easterlies, as well as localized thunderstorms, will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over the capital, as well as the rest of the Philippines.

As per the report, for the forecast wind speed, eastern portion of the country and the northern section of Ilocos Norte will have moderate winds that are moving in the east to southeast direction with moderate coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
