DepEd Says Its Up To Schools To Set Graduation, Moving-Up Ceremonies
DEPED – The Department of Education recently said that it is up to the schools to decide on graduation and moving-up ceremonies.

According to ABS-CBN News, Education undersecretaryAnnalyn Sevilla said that graduation rites set for April 3 have been cancelled. She further urged institutions to consult to the parents regarding the said activities.
“Puwede po nila itong i-reschedule, puwede din po na ‘di na nila ituloy pero ito po ay kailangan ikonsulta sa mga magulang,”
Classes and activities Luzon-wide are halted until April 14 and will continue on April 15 as people were advised to stay at home to avoid the Coronavirus disease 2019 spread.
As per the report, the education department resorted to “DepEd Commons” an online platform they launched for electronic or online learning. This is in order to aid students in taking up lessons while at home during the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine.
