Pinoy Actor Domingo “Menggie” Cobarrubias Passes Away at 68
The Filipino actor Domingo “Menggie” Cobarrubias reportedly died at the age of 68 while waiting for his coronavirus test results.
Menggie Cobarrubias is a veteran Filipino actor who has been featured in numerous Pinoy movies and television shows. He is best known for his films Mauban: Ang resiko (2014), Jaguar (1979) and Impostor (2010).
The veteran actor also worked as a salesman before entering the showbiz industry. He initially used the screen name Dom Cobarrubias before changing it to Menggie Cobarrubias after he was discovered by Behn Cervantes.
On Thursday (March 26, 2020), the Facebook page Brigada News FM 92.7 Pampanga reported that the 68-year-old actor died of pneumonia complication. Menggie was still able to post “Goodbye” on his social media account last Wednesday night (March 25).
