The medical facility in Quezon City recently posted an Important Public Advisory on its official Facebook page.

It said that as of March 24 (Thursday), it is incapable of accommodating more patients of COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease 2019).

The facility added that doing so will critically impact their ability to provide the critical level of care and attention patients, as well as non-infected patients, need at the moment.

St. Luke’s said that they are currently accommodating 48 patients infected with the disease, 139 PUIS (patients under investigation), and currently has 592 frontliners in both of their hospitals.

It clarified, however, that it will still provide outpatient COVID-19 testing for those who will qualify based on the criteria that the Department of Health (DOH) placed.

Lastly, the facility urged the public to observe preventive protocol in order to avoid the virus, and help them flatten the curve by staying at home.
