Man Wears Spiderman Costume as ‘Protection’ Against COVID-19 Threat

A man spotted wearing Spiderman costume serve as his protection against the threat of coronavirus disease as he went to market goes viral.

Just this week, the entire Luzon has been under enhanced community quarantine until April 13, which includes suspension of classes for all levels and strict home quarantine, to curb the spread COVID-19. The Philippines, under a state of calamity since Monday, President Rodrigo Duterte declared as the confirmed cases of coronavirus disease still continue to rise.

Recently, a netizen on Facebook named Jean Gani shared a photo of her husband in the full costume of the famous superhero character Spiderman. Instead of just wearing a face mask, Jon Gani decided to go out in “full gear” as a means to protect himself from the virus.

According to the post of his wife, Jean, on went out wearing the costume for fun since he also happened to be a cosplayer. “Lakas talaga trip ng asawa ko namalengke ng naka Spider-Man kaya pala sabi niya abangan ko sya pag uwe nya.”

After coming home from the market, Jean assured the public that they properly disinfected the costume. Meanwhile, Jon’s photo has gone viral on social media as many netizens found it hilarious.
