Cebu North Bus Terminal Will Continue To Operate
CEBU NORTH BUS TERMINAL – The general manager of the Ceres North Bus Terminal said that the terminal will still continue to operate.
According to SunStar, Zosimo Jumao-as, general manager of the said terminal, said that the information that the terminal will be closed on Friday, March 23, 2020, was a hoax.
He said that the operation will continue since they have not received any order from local government units (LGUs) to close the terminal.
“An employee from Mandaue even came at the terminal and conducted an inspection and informed us of the executive order of the mayor but they didn’t order us to close,”
Jumao-as added that they are not planning to charge the netizen who spread the false news. He did, however, warned the pubic to only trust legitimate sources online for information.
As per the report, despite profits have dwindled, the general manager said that it is hard for the terminal to close down as there are a lot of passengers who go home to north Cebu on a regular basis.
