Celebrity moms Neri Miranda and Pokwang extend help to health workers and police amid the community quarantine in the whole Luzon.
Amid this trying time, not just for Filipinos, but also for other races around the globe, kindness still blossoms. There have been some posts on social about the kindness that people extend to their fellow men. Some shared masks, alcohols, and food to those who are in need.
Among those people who showed kindness are Neri and Pokwang. The celebrity moms shared on their Instagram post that they gave food to health workers, as well as the police.
Neri said she gave “800 rolls of spanish bread and 800 coffee sachets para sa lahat ng mga bayani natin sa Tagaytay Medical Center.” The wife of the Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda said that they hope through this act, the health workers can feel that they are very much appreciated.
Following this, Neri also shared a photo that her staff sent her while packing for their food allowance. The celebrity mom who is also an entrepreneur said they decided to close their stores.
“Sa lahat ng mga negosyante na namumublema kung paano ang mga nakasarang stores, isipin na lang natin na makakabawi tayo. Masipag naman tayo di ba? Ang mahalaga ay ligtas tayo, ang staff natin, at ang mga pamilya natin. Makakabawi at makakabangon tayo. At wag kalimutang magbahagi ng kung ano ang kaya,” Neri shared.
Meanwhile, Pokwang also shared that she gave tuna sandwiches to health workers and police amid the community quarantine.
“Sa mundong puno ng takot at pangamba, ngiti nila ang nais kong makita at mahawa hindi ang CORONA,” the comedienne said in her post.
