Navotas City Declares Class Suspension on Monday (March 9)
WALANG PASOK – Navotas City has declared class suspension from kindergarten to college levels on Monday due to coronavirus disease.
Over the past few months, the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) or also known as novel coronavirus has been one of the most discussed topics online. It has been also the headlines of several local and international news outlets.
The deadly virus has already affected thousands of people in various nations all around the world. The disease also killed numerous lives and currently causing fear and panic to the people. Many countries worldwide are already implementing precautionary to prevent the spread of the disease.
Recently, Navotas City mayor Toby Tiangco announced on his Facebook page that the classes from kindergarten to college levels on Monday (March 9, 2020) would be suspended due to the threat of COVID-19.
Tiangco declared the cancellation of classes in all private and public schools in the city. He also asked the Department of Education for automatic passing for the students for this school year amid the threat of coronavirus outbreak.
