Teacher Assaulted By 15-Year-Old Student Who Is Grandson Of Teacher In Charge In School
TEACHER ASSAULTED BY 15-YEAR-OLD STUDENT – A student assaulted his teacher in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
There are some students who are just hard to deal with in class – some more than others. This is the case of a 23-year-old teacher from Himamaylan City.
According to reports from Radyo Bandera, the assault happened following a series of events that began with a lewd message. The student reportedly sent obscene messages to his teacher.
Additionally, the student sent pictures with sexual connotations to his teacher. Following this, he sent a chat that read “send nudes” as well.
Obviously, this is an extremely sensitive case. This caused the teacher to forward the student’s messages to her chat group with other teachers. From there, the student’s grandmother who was a teacher-in-charge knew about the story.
But, instead of directly handling the situation at home, the grandmother instead ordered the teacher to face the student one-on-one. However, the majority of the teachers were not in favor of the decision.
This was because the student had a reputation for being disrespectful. Nevertheless, the decision of the TIC to conduct a closed-door dialogue was final. As per the report, the TIC stated:
KUN INDI MO GANI MA CONTROL ANG ESTUDYANTE, PAHUWAY KA NA LANG
(If you can’t control your student, you should just take a rest)
At this time, the teacher had agreed to meet the student face-to-face. The other teachers decided to stand guard outside of the office because they didn’t trust the student.
When the teacher and student went into the room, it was closed as per the order of the TIC. Things began to go from bad to worse quickly.
A Cry For Help
In just a few minutes, the teacher was crying and screaming for help. The teachers outside quickly came in and saw their co-workers laying on the floor.
The student was grabbing the hair of his teacher and slammed her head into the sofa. Luckily, the other teachers were there to stop the assault.
Protective Parents
According to one of the teachers, the student’s mother who was also a teacher in a different school rushed to the scene. She even saw how her son was assaulting the teacher.
Based on a statement from the interviewee on Radyo Bandera, the mother told the teacher:
ANO ANG MALAIN MO NGA GIN HAMBAL SA AKON BATA NGA GIN KASTIGO NYA KA!” “FILE KA SANG KASO KAY ATUBANGON TA KA!
(What awful things did you say to my son that caused him to attack you?! File a case because I’ll face you!)
Because of the incident, 18 out of 20 teachers drafted a petition letter to the school division head to remove the Teacher in Charge.
This was due to the grave mishandling of the situation and the blatant consent she was giving to her abusive grandson.
Following this, the 23-year-old teacher’s decision to file a complaint against the student’s assault was final.
