Student Dies In Pigcayawan, Cotabato Due To “Joke”
PIGCAYAWAN – A student, seventeen years of age in the town of Pigcayawan, Cotabato was killed due to a joke that went too early.
According to GMA News, the victim, which his identity was undisclosed, wanted to pull a joke on his friend, 15 years of age. A bad timing occurred when the victim grabbed his friend by the neck.
The badly-timed joke enraged his friend, which prompted him to react abruptly by punching the victim on his nape.
The incident resulted unexpectedly when the victim felt weak and lost his consciousness. He was brought to the clinic and eventually in the hospital when his condition worsened.
The medical staff tried to save the victim but to no avail. The victim eventually died due to his serious condition.
As per the report, the 15-year-old friend is currently in the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). The suspect’s family is pledged to give assistance to the family of the victim.
