PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration this March 2, 2020.

The latest weather update from the bureau states that the north easterlies will affect Luzon, with easterlies affecting the rest of the country.

According to GMA News, the north easterlies, or winds from the northeast, will affect extreme northern Luzon.

The north easterlies will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains to Metro Manila, as well as the rest of Luzon.

Meanwhile, Visayas and Mindanao will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms. The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur, especially during severe thunderstorms.

As per the report, the northern and eastern sections of the country will have moderate to rough coastal waters, with waves reaching up to 4 meters.

The rest of the country will have slight to moderate with waters reaching up to 1.2 meters.
