Vehicle Fell In Water In Ozamiz City, Couple Dead
OZAMIZ CITY – A couple drowned in Barangay Baybay Triunfo, Ozamiz City after they failed to escape from their vehicle which fell at sea.
According to ABS-CBN, the incident occurred at Thursday night in the said area in Misamis Occidental.
It was only until Friday morning when residents discovered the vehicle where the bodies of the couple, identified as Ferdinand Jalasan and Teresita Jalasan, were still inside the car.
Police investigators reported that there were signs that the Jalasans attempted to escape their vehicle.
The couple were just taking their guests home from their party when the incident occurred.
As per the report, the local police also reported that Ferdinand drank alcoholic beverages as he drove his vehicle.
At the same time, it was raining that night and the area that the incident occurred have no light posts, hence, there was low visibility on that area.
